IN THE GLASS
good to know
Fresh and lively, peach and almond aromas
Flavourful with a stonefruit character, and a hint of butterscotch and nuttiness
We followed a different path and found our place. Under the silent watch of three extinct volcanoes, high above the plains, we farm in cool air and shifting winds, powered by the sun. We work by hand and with care for the land, building balance through regenerative practices. The wines carry that same intent, bright, layered and full of life.

This is a quirky chardonnay, but stay with me, in the best sense. It’s distinctly nutty, chewy, soft, plush, all the honey cornflakes, miso, hazy green apple, dried pear, dried peach, green olive in brine. Good good stuff in that. The bouquet is very floral, very citrusy, citrus curdy. Yum. Good. Flavours make it work so well. Sappy, crunchy texture is a treat. To be technical, it has ‘a very long finish’.
